Calming Facial Cream

Our Calming Facial Cream is a natural moisturising cream for skin affected by Rosacea and skin prone to redness. It is specially formulated to help soothe irritated skin.

Calming Facial Cream is free from many of the chemical and synthetic ingredients found in other creams and treatments for Rosacea. Over time these chemicals and synthetic ingredients can become less effective and irritating. With continued use, Calming Facial Cream can help improve the condition and appearance of the skin.

Naturally Solved Calming Facial Cream contains skin calming Lavender Essential Oil that can help reduce enlarged blood vessels, Dandelion Extract used traditionally for skin ailments, Bisabolol an anti-irritant used to soothe and heal sensitive skin and Squalane, which is naturally derived from Olives and helps gently protect and repair the skin’s barrier whilst moisturising.

How to use 

Apply once or twice daily to freshly cleansed and dry skin.

General Skincare tips for sensitive skin

• Cleanse your face twice a day – gently. This helps to remove oil and dirt that can irritate your skin.
• Choose a mild cleanser not a harsh Gently pat your skin dry with a clean cotton towel.
• Moisturise every day to keep your skin hydrated and clean
• Protect your skin from the sun. Our Calming Facial Cream does not contain sunscreen, as we are unable to formulate a natural product that would be as safe and effective as some more well-known products on the market. Always use a high-quality sunscreen, preferably without ingredients that include zinc oxide or titanium oxide as these can further irritate sensitive skin. Try to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
• Always test patch new products by applying a very small amount of the product near to but not on the affected If any reaction occurs (redness, stinging, burning etc) within 72 hours do not continue to use.
• If a product you are currently using seems to cause any irritation, discontinue use.
• Assess any potential food triggers as some people find that certain foods can trigger a flare up or exacerbate symptoms. Common food triggers include spicy foods, alcohol, hot beverages, and foods that contain Cinnamaldehyde which can be found in cinnamon, tomatoes, citrus fruits, and some chocolate.
• Avoid washing in very hot water.
• Check that any detergents used for washing or washing clothes are not irritating.
• Try to drink plenty of water and eat a healthy balanced diet.
• People can suffer from different types of Rosacea and different conditions that may present If you are struggling to deal with the symptoms you should always consult with a medical professional for the best advice and treatment.

 Cautions, safety and allergy information

• Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients Our products are not suitable for people with nut allergies due to possible traces in natural oils. 

• As with any new skincare product always patch test by applying a small amount to clear skin (close to the affected area or in the crook of an elbow) and leaving 72 hours to check for any adverse reaction. Our products are 100% natural, but some people may be sensitive to even the gentle plant-based ingredients we use.
• This product contains essential oils. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and immediate area around eyes.
• Keep out of reach of children. Not for internal consumption, if swallowed seek immediate medical attention. Do not use on broken skin. If any irritation occurs discontinue use.
• As this product is made from natural ingredients variations in its appearance between batches can occur due to temperature or storage conditions.

All our products are handmade following Good Manufacturing Processes and are independently safety tested to comply with UK and EU regulations for cosmetic products. As our products are handmade from natural ingredients we generally advise against their use for children and for people that are pregnant and breastfeeding and that you consult with a medical professional before using our products if you have any health issues.

We strive to be as environmentally friendly as we can by using minimal packaging and using recyclable packaging where possible. All our ingredients are natural and ethically sourced and not tested on animals. All our products are vegan friendly except for those containing ethically sourced beeswax (cera alba) which will always be indicated on the packaging.

We always use ethically sourced ingredients of the highest quality which are more expensive than some of the cheaper extracts that can be found in other products.
